2Corinthians 3:12-15

12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. 13 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. 14 But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. 15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.

1. (verse 12-13) hope vs. Moses's veil

(Exodus 34:29-35) Moses did not realize God's light was radiating on him that Aaron and all Israelites could not come near. The law at this time was death for anyone who saw this Light (Light of God). However, Moses had received this Light of God. The reason behind Moses putting a veil over his face was to prevent the people from looking at his face. People only looked at his face as it was intriguing and interesting. The point was to listen to the Word than to look at Moses's face. Thus, Moses covered his face when he was not speaking the W.O.G

(verse 13) In addition, Moses put a veil over his face to show that this Light on his face is not his and will not last. It was a light that will pass away.

Our hope is not something that can be veiled. We can't explain the gospel to understand. The Word must be read and received. (Verse 12) tells us that the hope gives us boldness to proclaim the gospel. It cannot be covered like Moses's veil.

(1Timothy 4:10-1) Our hope the we labor and strive is for the living God, especially for those who believe. Teachings that go to the flesh/world/head does not lead to hope. This cannot be considered hope at all. An unveiled hope is proclaiming this hope- the living gospel.

(2Corinthians 4:3) If the gospel in indeed veiled, it is veiled to the perishing. If you hope to know the gospel, you must pray and read instead of trying to learn it like a textbook/novel.

2. (verse 13) The Veil on Moses is not everlasting

*Do not put the focus on this veil- the light on Moses's face- that is going to disappear

(verse 11) Tells us that Moses's commands- the 10 Commandments- will be erased. This means that the Old Law/Testament is going to be void due to the coming of Jesus.

(1Peter 1:3) living hope is ONLY given to those who receive the Holy Spirit, resurrected through Jesus Christ. The question is simple: Does you focus deter during service and praise to the living God? If yes, you are dead. We need to remember that this world that God has loved before has been handed over to Satan; it is not a place for us to find prosperity in.

How, then, can we be resurrected? In order for us to be resurrected, Jesus must have gone through resurrection first. (2Corinthians 3:9) What is your hope?(Galatians 5:5) says there is a limit to how much "will" we can put into believing to receive salvation. This is the Old Testament. The old law. Our hope comes from faith through the Spirit of Righteousness to receive salvation. It's not that following the law is bad or ridiculous but it's not beneficial for us to come into faith, to accept the new covenant that leads to salvation. If we do not "divorce" ourselves from the old covenant/testament, receiving Jesus Christ (new covenant, husband) is impossible. Jesus helps us to break free from the law easily because he will take care of it all. This freedom is being free from our original sin, for we were born as sinners. (Only one who can clear that title is Jesus Christ). Truly divorce with the world/flesh/physical thoughts/etc. in order to enter Heaven.

3. (verse 14) Veil is only removed through Jesus Christ.

If we are IN Christ, the veil is automatically taken away. This is a good moment to re-evaluate your faith in Christ. If you are still working on trying to go into Christ, you are not in Christ yet. There should be no doubt, no question if you are truly IN Christ. Many people have interest in finding different ways to get into Christ since they don't really have Christ living inside their hearts. Does Christ truly live inside your heart? Those in Christ are at peace with confirmation that they're in Christ.

Conclusion:

The decision is yours to make: come into Life or linger in the Perished. At the last hour, ultimatum is within your faith. Having the old law/covenant/testament- Moses's Light/veil- will only get you far as being labeled as a citizen of God, instead of being called child of God.

Your hope, my hope should be in the unveiled, living hope in the Kingdom of Heaven- only in Jesus Christ.

(Galatians 3:24;26) Simply put, the law leads us to Christ who, in turn, voids the law. If you are in the law you are a citizen of God. If you are in Jesus Christ, you are a Child of God. The choice is yours to make but I truly hope we all can throw away the old, and marry into the new covenant with Jesus Christ.
